The fruit of the day today is my favorite the apple yummmmmm.

The apple is not only the most famous fruit in the world and a delicious treat but is also used in the treatment of a wide variety of diseases. It is not very rich in nutrients but contains the following nutrients: boron, vitamin c and e, iron, potassium, tannins and pectins (insoluable vegetable fiber).

Some of the disease and ailments that apples help to treat include:
gastrointestinal illnesses -diarrhea, colitis, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome ( because it regulates the intestinal function ), hypertension, excess cholesterol, arteriosclerosis and diabetes.
Wonderful isn't it how a fruit this small can provide so much benefits here now are some wonderful recipes made using the apple.
